Every Vote Counts!

Every vote counts! It's up to you to dispell the myth that Asian Americans are the silient minority. Get involved, speak up and mke your vote count!

Read comments below from APIAVote website and register to vote!

As the 2000 elections have shown how every vote made a difference, APIA is urging every citizen to exercise their rights and get involved to vote on every election. Oregon is known as one of the battleground states where a few thousand votes could tip the election; minority voters could have a bigger impact this year than ever before.

“We know we can have a lot of impact on the next election,” said Janelle Hu, national director of the Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote 2004, “Our numbers are very strong…we have the potential to swing the election.”

VOICE YOUR VOTE!

With your help, Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIAs) will cast the deciding vote in the next election. We are looking to make a real impact on the 2004 elections, but this can only be done if each and everyone of us participates! If you have not registered to vote, you can do so on line at www.apiavote.org.
